I’m Melanie Coeshott, founder of Blue Diamond Coach. I’m an award-winning coach and mentor, an FCA chartered accountant, and an ICF PCC-accredited coach, with 22 years spent in finance roles before I trained as a coach.

That combination is rare, and it is deliberate. I have sat in the seat my clients sit in, so I understand the pressure finance leaders carry: the firefighting, the difficult conversations that get postponed, and the expectation to be strategic while still clearing an endless stream of demands. I also know how it feels to be promoted for technical excellence and then left to work out the leadership part alone. It troubles me that so many capable finance people are set up to lead without ever being shown how, and that is the challenge I have built my work around.

I help Finance Leaders –  CFOs, Finance Directors, Finance Controllers and Head of Finance through 1:1 coaching, team workshops and group coaching (Action Learning). 

The aim is straightforward: to help finance leaders learn how to lead, genuinely enjoy leading, and build finance teams that reach their full potential.

The way I work is shaped by what I believe: I coach to empower, so you leave with your own answers rather than depending on me. I am here to support your growth and to help you and your team move from surviving to thriving. And I believe leadership works best when it is human and authentic, so you lead as yourself, not as an imitation of someone else.

I incorporate tools and techniques, including NLP, Motivational Maps, Insights Discovery and ResilienceBuilder®, into my work with individuals and groups where appropriate.
