Is it time to get back in the driving seat?

It’s been a while, but it’s now time to take back control. We don’t always realize when we lose control, not really.

It can just seep away from us, unnoticed.

We initially find ourselves becoming comfortable. Then bored. Then frustrated.

There could be all manner of other feelings mixed in there too including resentful, anger, and apathy. Take your pick, none of them are particularly resourceful or useful.

Sadly, so many people just put up with this. You’ll hear them say “It’s just the new normal” or “It’s just that Monday feeling, everyone gets it”. You may even have heard yourself say it.

When questioned or challenged the response might be “Doesn’t everyone feel like this?” or “Isn’t this just life?”

But no, they don’t and no, this isn’t!

And you do have to put up with it either…

You’re different.

Yes, you too may have become bored and frustrated, but you are an achiever. An action-taker.

It may take a little effort to get started again. You’ve got used to being comfortable after all. It may be hard to pick yourself up again and find the drive that you’ve been lacking, missing even.

But you can do it. I believe in you and I know that you do too. Deep down, anyway.

You may need to blow away the cobwebs first. Brush away that imposter syndrome and boost your confidence.

So, you’ve decided to get back in the driving seat. Good for you, I knew you would.

Now, where do you want to go? The roads ahead are pretty clear, empty even. Full of delicious potential.

Now is the perfect time to plan your route! Before traffic builds again and other obstacles appear as constraints and blockages on your journey. Towards the destination that you yearn for inside.

No idea where you want to go?
